Opera browser, like many other web browsers, has a default search engine that is used when users enter search queries into the browser's search bar. The default search engine used by Opera can vary depending on the location and version of the browser.

In recent versions, Opera uses Google as the default search engine. However, users can change the default search engine to another one of their choice. Opera also includes several other search engines, such as Bing, Yahoo, and DuckDuckGo, that can be selected as alternatives to Google.

Users can customize their default search engine by going to the browser's settings, selecting the "Browser" tab, and then choosing the "Search" option. From there, they can select their preferred search engine and make it the default option for all searches conducted within the browser
